Our services for a comfortable stay by the Mayenne River
At Les Rives de Mayenne, we do everything we can to make your stay comfortable, practical and relaxing. Located in Montreuil-Juigné, just a few minutes from Angers, our riverside campsite offers a range of services for campers, cyclists travelling along La Vélo Francette, families and nature lovers.
Enjoy useful facilities and services for every type of stay, including bread and pastries, a shared communal area, equipment hire, tourist information, cyclist-friendly services, easy access to outdoor activities and more. In July and August, guests can also enjoy free access to the municipal swimming pool, just a short walk from the campsite.
Whether you are stopping for one night or spending your holiday in Anjou, Les Rives de Mayenne is a friendly, small-scale campsite where comfort, simplicity and a warm welcome come together in the heart of the Basses Vallées Angevines, a Natura 2000 area known for its rich biodiversity.

Staying with a baby
To make your family stay easier, we can provide a baby bath and travel cots on request.
A baby changing area is also available in the sanitary block.
Services for motorhomes
A fresh water point is available under the covered communal area, where you can fill your water tank.
A chemical toilet disposal point is located behind the sanitary block. Please note that grey water and black water cannot be emptied on the campsite.
A dedicated motorhome service area is available approximately 200 metres from the campsite.
The covered communal area
The covered communal area is a friendly shared space where guests can meet, chat, relax and enjoy simple moments together.
You will find several useful facilities here, including shared refrigerators, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster and cooking hobs, making it easier to prepare simple meals during your stay.
For quieter moments, books and board games are also available to borrow. The area is furnished with benches, tables and outdoor seating, making it a comfortable place to relax at any time of d
The playground
The campsite has a play area for both children and adults, with swings, a table tennis table and a pétanque court — perfect for enjoying time together with family, friends or other campers.
Sports equipment and board games can also be borrowed free of charge from reception, including:

a badminton net, rackets and shuttlecocks
a cornhole set

Bed linen rental
To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we offer a bed linen rental service:
€8 for a double bed linen set
€5 for a single bed linen set
For even more comfort, we can also make the beds before you arrive.
This service is available for all rental accommodation except the stilt tents. For these, we recommend bringing a sleeping bag.
Bike rental
To explore the local area at your own pace and enjoy a more sustainable way of getting around, bikes are available to rent from the campsite reception.
It is a great way to follow the riverside towpath, discover the locks along the Mayenne River and enjoy a peaceful ride surrounded by nature. From the campsite, you can also cycle to nearby attractions such as Terra Botanica and the Château du Plessis-Macé.
Rental prices:
Full day: €10 adult / €5 child
Half day: €6 adult / €3 child
For your safety, a helmet and repair kit are provided with each bike.
Grocery shop & local products
To make your stay easier, a small grocery shop is available at the campsite reception.
You will find Bocaux du Bocage ready-made meals in reusable glass jars, prepared with fresh local ingredients, as well as spreads from Saveurs d’Antoine.
Pasta and tomato sauce are also available, together with salted butter, jam and Nutella for breakfast.
This year, we are also offering cold drinks at reception, including cans of soft drinks and 33 cl bottles of water.
And for something sweet, ice creams are back, including delicious tubs from Manufacture des Belles Glaces — perfect for a refreshing break!
Tourist information
At the campsite reception, you will find a wide range of brochures and information about local activities, castles, zoos and places to visit in Angers and the surrounding area.
Breakfast
During the high season in July and August, we offer a bread and pastry delivery service for breakfast.
Orders should be placed at reception the day before.
From around 8:15–8:30 am, we deliver your order directly to your pitch, so you do not even need to leave your accommodation.
We work with local bakeries in Montreuil-Juigné: Au P’tit Fournil and Les Petits Bonheurs de Montreuil.
Bread vending machine
A baguette vending machine is available outside the campsite reception.
You can buy fresh rustic baguettes supplied by Au P’tit Fournil, a local bakery located about 800 metres from the campsite in the centre of Montreuil-Juigné.
No bread available on Mondays.
